I was born in England and moved to Australia with my family at eighteen months of age. I completed all my schooling in Perth. I obtained my medical degree from the University of Western Australia and completed specialist training in Orthopaedics on the Western Australian Training Scheme. In 2004/2005, I returned to the United Kingdom for further sub-specialty training in hip and knee surgery and paediatric Orthopaedics. I am married with three children.
