Shoulder Impingement

Shoulder impingement is one of the common causes of shoulder pain. Irritation of the rotator cuff tendons and the subacromial bursa can follow injury or be the result of bony narrowing on the tendon. Treatment can include physiotherapy, directed injections or arthroscopic surgery to remove impinging bone.

Frozen Shoulder

This is a painful condition of the shoulder which limits movement of the shoulder joint due to inflammation of the capsule of the joint. It is also called adhesive capsulitis.
